Chauffeur Service at Newark Liberty International Airport
Newark Liberty is the most underrated airport for New York travellers. It often has the better fare, the shorter security line and, for Lower Manhattan or the West Side, the shorter drive. What puts people off is the Hudson. Lincoln Tunnel, Holland Tunnel or the George Washington Bridge is a decision that can cost you forty minutes if it is made badly. Our chauffeurs make that call on live traffic every single trip, and it is the main reason our EWR clients stop worrying about which airport they fly into.

How EWR Pickups and Drop Offs Work
Arrivals. Your chauffeur meets you inside at baggage claim with a name sign. Terminal A was rebuilt in 2022 and its arrivals flow is different from B and C, which our drivers know. International arrivals into Terminal B include 90 minutes of complimentary wait time, domestic 60.
Departures. From Manhattan allow an hour off peak and ninety minutes in rush hour, longer on a Friday evening. From Westchester allow ninety minutes to two hours. We confirm your airline so you reach the right terminal, because the three buildings are not close together.
The crossing. Holland Tunnel serves Downtown and Tribeca, Lincoln Tunnel serves Midtown, and the George Washington Bridge is the escape route when both are gridlocked or when you are heading to Westchester and the Upper West Side. Your chauffeur checks all three before leaving.

Terminals and Where We Meet You
Newark operates three separate terminal buildings connected by AirTrain. Terminal A was rebuilt entirely and reopened in 2022, and now serves United domestic, JetBlue, American and Alaska among others. Terminal B handles most international arrivals along with Delta and several foreign carriers. Terminal C is United’s international hub and the busiest of the three.
The distance between these buildings is real, and being dropped at the wrong one means an AirTrain ride with luggage and a lost twenty minutes. We confirm your airline and terminal at booking. For arrivals, your chauffeur meets you inside at baggage claim in the correct building, which matters more at Newark than anywhere else in the region because the three terminals feel like three different airports.
When EWR Is Busy, and What That Means for You
Newark’s pattern is driven by United’s hub operation. Late afternoon and early evening see the heaviest international departure bank, which means the roads into the airport are worst between three and six in the afternoon. Arrivals cluster in the early morning as overnight transatlantic flights land together, and the customs hall in Terminal B is at its slowest between six and nine.
The other Newark variable is the New Jersey Turnpike, which carries both airport traffic and everything moving between New York and Philadelphia. Holiday weekends compress both onto the same asphalt. For Thanksgiving and the Christmas period we recommend building an extra forty five minutes into any Newark departure, and we will say so when you book.
Why Book a Chauffeur for EWR
What changes when the plan changes
Newark’s reputation for being difficult is really a reputation about the Hudson crossing, and the crossing is a solvable problem if someone is paying attention to it. The Holland Tunnel, the Lincoln Tunnel and the George Washington Bridge fail at different times for different reasons, and picking correctly is worth thirty to forty minutes on a bad evening.
Our chauffeurs check all three before departure and re check them en route. That single decision, made properly, is the reason clients who used to avoid Newark on principle now book it happily when the fare or the schedule is better.

The Routes We Run Most From EWR
We run flat rate transfers from this airport to every destination listed above, but a handful account for most of the volume, and they are worth understanding before you book.
EWR to Manhattan covers 14 miles in 28 to 44 minutes. The lincoln or holland tunnel, or the george washington bridge when the tunnels are heavy, all included in your flat rate. Mid morning and early afternoon pickups move fastest. During peak hours we simply pad the schedule for you.
EWR to Scarsdale covers 35 miles in 49 to 77 minutes. The george washington bridge and the cross county parkway, included in your flat rate. Mid morning and early afternoon pickups move fastest. During peak hours we simply pad the schedule for you.
EWR to White Plains covers 40 miles in 56 to 88 minutes. The george washington bridge and the cross county parkway, included in your flat rate. Mid morning and early afternoon pickups move fastest. During peak hours we simply pad the schedule for you.
EWR to The Hamptons covers 118 miles in about 2 hours. The george washington bridge and the whitestone or throgs neck crossing, included. Early morning departures beat the worst of the crossings.
Every one of these has its own page with distance, timing, traffic notes, vehicle guidance and route specific answers. If your destination is not among them, it is almost certainly still on our list, and the rate is quoted the same way.
Choosing the Right Vehicle
Newark splits between international arrivals with heavy luggage and domestic business travel with almost none. For the former the SUV is the sensible default, for the latter the sedan is more than enough. If you are landing internationally with a family, take the Sprinter rather than trying to make an SUV work.
Across all vehicles the standard is the same: cleaned and inspected between assignments, climate controlled, bottled water on board, and a chauffeur in business dress. The stretch limousine and party bus exist for celebrations rather than transfers, but they are booked from the airport more often than people expect, usually for a wedding party or a milestone birthday arriving together.
If you are not sure which vehicle fits, tell dispatch your passenger count and the number and size of bags when you call. Getting this right at booking costs nothing. Getting it wrong at the kerb costs a second vehicle and half an hour.
Groups, Events and Multi Vehicle Bookings
Groups are a coordination problem, not a transport problem, and we solve them daily.

EWR Limo Service FAQs
EWR rates are flat and cover the tunnel or bridge tolls, which are the reason Newark transfers price slightly above LaGuardia. Enter your trip above for an exact quote, or call 914-770-4646.
It depends where in Manhattan. For Chelsea, Hudson Yards, Tribeca and the Financial District, Newark is usually closer and faster. For the East Side and Upper East Side, JFK or LaGuardia normally win.
Whichever is moving. Holland Tunnel for Downtown, Lincoln Tunnel for Midtown, George Washington Bridge for the Upper West Side, Westchester or when the tunnels are backed up. The call is made on live traffic before departure.
Yes. Terminal A reopened in 2022 with a new layout, and our chauffeurs meet arrivals inside at baggage claim just as they do in B and C.
Yes. Give us the FBO name at booking and your chauffeur will meet you there rather than at the commercial terminals.
Yes, and it is usually the better choice. Booking both legs together locks the same flat rate in each direction and lets us assign the same chauffeur where scheduling allows. Return legs can be moved later if your plans change.
No. The flat rate is the same at four in the morning as it is at four in the afternoon, and it does not change on holidays or in bad weather. There is no after hours multiplier and no surge.
You can cancel or reschedule up to six hours before pickup at no charge. Inside six hours a partial fee applies. Flight cancellations outside your control are handled case by case and we are reasonable about them.
