A Wedding Car Service Built Around the Timeline, Not the Mileage

The difference between a wedding limousine and an ordinary car booking is that the wedding has a timeline and the timeline has no slack in it. A ceremony that starts eleven minutes late pushes the photographs, which pushes the receiving line, which pushes dinner service, which the venue will charge you for. Our job is to make sure no part of that chain moves because of the cars.

So we plan backwards from the ceremony. We look at where the bridal party is getting ready, where the ceremony is, where the photographs are happening and where the reception sits, and we build the vehicle movements around those fixed points. On a Westchester wedding that often means the Hutchinson River Parkway at exactly the wrong hour, so we route around it. On a Manhattan wedding it means knowing which side of the block the car can legally hold on.

You get a written schedule with every pickup address and time on it, and the chauffeur gets the same sheet. Nobody is working from a text message on the morning.

What Your Wedding Limo Booking Includes

Everything below is in the flat rate. There is no separate line for waiting, for the second trip back to the hotel, or for the fact that the photographs ran long.

  • Unlimited waiting inside your booked window, because photographs always overrun
  • Multiple pickups from different addresses on the same booking
  • A return leg to the hotel or the after party if you want the same car
  • Bottled water, tissues and an umbrella in every wedding car
  • A chauffeur in formal dress who knows to stand back from the photographs
  • Help with the dress getting in and out, if the bride wants it
  • Guest shuttle runs between ceremony and reception on the same account
  • A backup vehicle held on the day for any booking of three cars or more

Wedding Limousine Jobs We Run Every Season

A wedding is rarely one journey. These are the movements couples most often put on a single wedding limo service booking.

Bride and bridal party to the ceremony
The car that matters most. Arrives thirty minutes early, waits at the door, and carries the dress without crushing it.
Groom and groomsmen separately
A second vehicle so nobody sees anybody before they should, usually leaving from a different hotel.
Ceremony to photograph locations
Short hops between the church, the park and the waterfront, with the car holding between each one.
Photographs to the reception
Timed so the couple arrive after the guests, which is what almost every venue asks for.
Guest shuttles both directions
Larger vehicles running loops so guests who are drinking do not drive, and out of town family are not left stranded.
The send off and the airport the next morning
The last car of the night, and often the transfer to JFK or Newark for the honeymoon flight.

Wedding Limousines and Cars in Our New York Fleet

Which vehicle suits a wedding depends on the dress as much as the headcount. A full ballgown needs a high door and a flat floor, which rules out most sedans. We will tell you honestly what will and will not work.

How Booking a Wedding Limo With Us Works

Four steps, and only the first one needs you to know anything. We work the rest out from the venues.

1
Send us the day
Ceremony venue, reception venue, roughly how many people and roughly what time. That is enough for a first quote.
2
We build the movements
We map the route, check the parkway restrictions and tell you how many cars the day actually needs. Sometimes it is fewer than you asked for.
3
You get a written schedule
Every address, every time, every vehicle, on one page. Change it as often as you like up to two weeks before.
4
We drive it before the day
For any wedding with three or more cars we drive the route in advance, so the chauffeur is not reading a map on the morning.

Bridal Party Transportation That Keeps Everyone Together

The single most common wedding day failure is not the car being late. It is eleven people trying to leave one hotel in four different cars, and two of them getting lost. A stretch limousine or a large SUV solves that by making the group one unit that arrives together.

It also solves the drinking problem. The bridal party has usually been drinking since the hair and makeup started, and asking a groomsman to drive between the ceremony and the reception is a conversation nobody wants to have. One booked vehicle removes the question entirely.

We size the vehicle to the actual party rather than the guest list. Twelve people in an eighteen seat limousine is comfortable. Twelve people in a fourteen seat limousine, in formal wear, with three bouquets, is not. We would rather tell you that in advance.

Planning Details Most Wedding Limo Quotes Leave Out

These are the things that turn a clean quote into a surprise invoice elsewhere. Ours are priced in from the start.

The gap between ceremony and reception
Often two or three hours of photographs. Some companies bill that as idle waiting. We build it into the flat rate.
Venue access and parking
Several Westchester estates and Long Island vineyards have their own arrival rules. We confirm them with the venue rather than guessing.
Parkway height restrictions
The Hutchinson, Saw Mill and Bronx River parkways bar commercial vehicles and low bridges stop stretch limousines. Routing has to account for it.
Weather contingency
Rain changes the photograph locations, which changes the car movements. Your dispatcher can re route on the day at no extra cost.
Where the dress actually fits
A ballgown will not go into a low sedan without creasing. We match the car to the dress, not just the headcount.
The morning after
Honeymoon flights out of JFK, LGA or Newark, booked on the same account so you are not arranging it at midnight.

Wedding Limo Service Compared With the Alternatives

Couples usually weigh three options. This is an honest account of where each one actually lands on a wedding day.

Reception Arrivals and the Limousine Send Off

Almost every venue wants the couple to arrive after the guests are seated, which sounds simple and is the part that most often slips. It requires the car to hold somewhere out of sight for fifteen or twenty minutes, then time the last two minutes precisely. Our chauffeurs do this constantly and will coordinate directly with your planner or the maitre d rather than waiting to be told.

At the other end of the night there is the send off. If you want the sparkler exit or the confetti line, the car has to be positioned for the photograph, lit properly and clean. We will wash the vehicle between the ceremony and the reception on any full day booking so it photographs the way it did in the morning.

If the party continues somewhere else afterwards, the same vehicle can run the after party and the hotel returns. It is cheaper than releasing the car and rebooking at midnight.

Wedding Limousine Timings We Recommend

These are the buffers we build into New York wedding schedules. They come from driving these routes, not from a template.

  • Chauffeur on site thirty minutes before every stated pickup time
  • Forty five minutes allowed for any Manhattan crossing during daylight hours
  • An hour allowed between a Westchester ceremony and a Manhattan reception
  • Twenty minutes of loading time for a bridal party of eight or more
  • Photographs given at least ninety minutes if the venues are separate
  • Fifteen minutes of hold time before the reception entrance
  • Guest shuttle loops timed at twice the empty road journey
  • Airport transfers the next morning quoted from touchdown, not from booking time
The car was outside for half an hour before we even finished the photographs, and nobody once mentioned the time. That was the whole point.

Where Our Wedding Limo Service Covers

We run wedding limousines across the whole tri state area. These are the regions we cover most often, each with venues our chauffeurs already know.

Westchester County
Estate and country club weddings from Scarsdale and Rye through to Bedford and Armonk, with parkway routing planned around the stretch restrictions.
New York City
Manhattan hotel and loft weddings, Brooklyn waterfront venues and the City Clerk office, where holding space is the whole problem.
Long Island
North Shore mansions, Hamptons weddings and the vineyards out east, where the drive itself needs planning into the timeline.
Connecticut and New Jersey
Greenwich, Stamford and the northern New Jersey venues that sit inside an hour of our base.

Wedding Limo Service FAQs

The questions couples ask us most before booking a wedding limousine in New York.

Six to nine months is typical for a Saturday between May and October, which is when demand is heaviest across Westchester and Long Island. Outside those months, or midweek, six to eight weeks is usually comfortable. That said, we hold cars back for late bookings and we would always rather you asked than assumed we were full.
Fixed. You get a flat rate in writing that covers the whole booking, including tolls, parking and gratuity. It does not change because the photographs ran over or because traffic was worse than expected. The only thing that changes the price is you adding a vehicle or a journey.
For the whole of your booked window, without any extra charge. Photographs overrunning is the normal case rather than the exception, so we build it into the schedule rather than billing for it. If the day extends well past the booked window, the dispatcher will agree the extra with you before anything is added.
It depends entirely on the dress, which is why we ask. A structured ballgown needs a high door and a flat floor, so a Rolls Royce Ghost, an Escalade or a stretch limousine works and a low sedan does not. Send us a photograph of the dress and we will tell you honestly what fits.
Yes, and it is usually cheaper that way. Multiple vehicles and multiple journeys go on a single booking with one flat rate and one point of contact. Guest shuttle loops between the ceremony and the reception are one of the most common additions.
A ribbon and a clean finish are included at no extra cost. We do not fit floral arrangements ourselves, but your florist is welcome to dress the car at the pickup address and our chauffeur will help. We will not use anything that obstructs the driver's view.
For any booking of three vehicles or more we hold a reserve car on the day. For smaller bookings we run the nearest available vehicle from our own fleet rather than subcontracting to a company you have not vetted. The dispatcher calls you rather than you discovering it.
Yes. Honeymoon transfers to JFK, LaGuardia, Newark or Westchester County go on the same account, and we track the flight so the pickup time moves if the departure does. Booking it with the wedding saves you arranging it at the end of the night.
We regularly run weddings in Greenwich, Stamford and northern New Jersey, and we will travel further for full day bookings. Anything beyond roughly ninety minutes from our base gets quoted individually so there are no surprises.
Yes. We would encourage it, particularly if the dress is structured. Arrange a viewing through dispatch and we will have the specific vehicle available rather than a similar one.
